The Doctor's Side of the Story: What You Don't Know About Your Doctor's Paycheck

Doctors have been terrible about telling their side of the story, the story of what it takes to get paid by insurance – the manpower, the expertise, the technology and the cost. We decided to make a video to show what a real doctor’s office must do to get paid by insurance for a single patient visit.

“Reality Check” explains the many steps that must be completed for insurance to pay. You’ll be shocked by the amount of work involved!

Forty two steps are required. Take a guess how many involve the doctor. Miss one step or perform it incorrectly, and insurance won’t pay.
